2023 NEW YEAR CALENDAR

VISUAL
GRAPHIC DESIGN
Reflecting on and drawing from the earliest font design of London Tube in 1915, the creative font of this project is generated based on the information and imprint of the underground station itself. Specifically, for the exploration of non-human language, expressing the ground-breaking thinking and its changing existence and applicable language symbols in the same space at different times. The mottled marks on the walls with artificial or non-human or natural influences are the best representatives of the spatial language of the London underground. The traces on the walls of the London subway station are the language left over from the world's oldest underground space, as if telling us stories of 160 years.

Under-Language is the exploration and generalisation of the surface layer of the underground space. It is not only a critical reflection on the representative language of the underground station, but also a historical response in 2023, to the pheromone contained in the London under-ground station.
